Husband’s gift of life after 45 years of marriage
During 45 years of marriage Brian and Barbara Lewis have always had a special bond but now it is stronger than ever. This is because 70-year-old Brian has given up one of his kidneys so Barbara can have the ultimate gift – a fresh start in life. Barbara, 68, of Brampton, was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary nearly two years ago with kidney failure and spent days in intensive care.
