Fowler hat-trick for United

MARYPORT scored first in this entertaining U10 division one match but United soon hit back with a great goal from Matthew Fowler.
United then started to put their game together and added further goals through Bradley Nicholson and Liam McCullough to make it 3-1 to United at the break.
The second half kicked off with both teams showing great determination. It wasn't long before Maryport broke through United's defence and scored their second.
Midfield tussles and regular break-throughs for both sides led to chances at both ends but United's confident and committed play won through to give them a further two goals from Fowler and Matthew Smith.
Maryport still battled on and scored but then United ended the game with a brilliant goal from Smith.
A hat-trick from David Symington and a goal from Richard Pattinson took Workington to a good win in this U14 division two encounter.
Three goals from Gavin Graham carried Netherhall to victory in this U18 match.
Rovers recorded their first away win of the season in the U10 division one against a resilient Windscale side.
The visitors opened with a fluent free-flowing passing game inspired by the midfield trio of Joanna Tindall, Jonny Hawthorne and David Pugh, but were unable to convert a series of chances.
Eventually the pressure paid off when quick accurate passing sliced open the home side and Callum Sutton confidently fired the visitors into a half-time lead.
The second half continued in the same vein with Rovers pressing and Windscale defending valiantly.
The game was sealed when Matthew Williams’ 30-yard rocket flew into the top corner.
More goals looked set to follow and only a spectacular save denied the hard working Elliot Coates from adding a deserved third.
