Getting ready for Xmas in Brampton

Preparations are underway for Brampton’s Christmas celebrations.
Santa will be making a visit to Talkin Tarn this Christmas with a Green Grotto open in the Alex Boathouse on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21, between 11am and 3pm each day.
Children can meet Santa who will give out gifts and youngsters will be given the chance to post letter to Lapland. Entry £2.50 per child.
Lanercost Priory is also hosting a Magical Christmas Tree Festival.
The ancient Augustinian Priory is set to be the backdrop for a collection of creatively decorated Christmas trees.
The event will be held between 10am and 9pm on Friday, December 12, and between 10am and 6pm on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14.
Entry is £6 per person.
