Four bobbies going on the run for hospice

FOUR Brampton bobbies are set to take part in a charity run to raise vital funds for a local cause.
PC Tony Milroy, who covers Corby Hill and Warwick Bridge, PC Liz Turner of Brampton, former Brampton PCSO and now PC Louise Fisher and PCSO for Longtown Pete Aiston will take a break from walking the beat to pound the streets as part of the Carlisle to Brampton 10 mile Road Race on Saturday, November 15. PC Milroy said: “This is the first time we have done a run like this.
“All money raised will go towards the Eden Valley Hospice.
“It is a great local cause and we want to raise as much money as possible.
“We hope local people get behind us and give us lots of support.”
